Toni Leland

Dogs and cats, tractors and airplanes, lakes and pyramids are only a few of the subjects photographer Toni Leland adds to her eclectic “Eye of the Beholder” exhibit.

“I photograph the beautiful things in my world because I can’t paint or draw. With my camera, I can keep these images with me forever. My garden blooms year-round, and I can revisit any place I’ve ever been.” Leland’s landscapes and flowers vibrate with color, and her interesting angles and subjects provoke closer inspection.

Ms. Leland has traveled all over the world and brings to the exhibit many views of exotic countries and culture. She lived in Egypt for two years and spent that time gathering images of the pyramids, the ancient tombs of the Pharaohs and nobles, the flora and fauna of that arid country, and capturing the sharp contrasts of the city and country. Her images span America from the coast of Maine to the Grand Canyon and the Pacific Ocean. Leland’s “Home in Ohio” collection includes the Y-Bridge and images from the Muskingum County Blue Ribbon Fair.

In 2008, Toni debuted her Fantasy Garden collection, digitally altered photographs of Nature at its best.

Also a published author, Toni’s love of horses and suspense creates exciting plots and interesting characters in her four novels. Her writing talents extend into the non-fiction arena as well, where she writes for several national magazines and an international gardening website.

Most of the photographs are available as prints as well as custom-framed. Limited editions are one-of-a-kind.
