Teresa (Huffman) Caw
Teresa (Huffman) Caw a life long resident Of Muskingum County, who works from her home studio.
Teresa is a Stained glass/mixed medium artist. She has worked in several Mediums. She attended East Muskingum schools where she took ever year of art that’s was available. Which gave her a hands on with charcoal, water colors, pencil, acrylics and more. Through the years Teresa has taken different classes ceramic’s, stained glass and calligraphy to name a few.
“I strive & enjoy trying to incorporate something original into all my works and Love when I can in some way work a piece from the past into my work.” I design most of my own work. “If I see something I like I always try adding my own touch and twist on it” In my stain glass I don’t strive for a piece that looks machine made I strive more for origanalality & creativity.
One of Teresa favorite sayings is "Our Fingerprints never fade from the lives we touch" Believing in this kind of thoughts Many of Teresa’s family and friends have received gifts like memory quilts. “I feel One has no talent if not shared. I’ve found the more I give and share the more I learn, grow and the joy I receive doubles” Teresa has donated several pieces of her work to different fund raisers. Being a life long Dog lover she has donated pieces of her works for fund raiser such as The National Yorkshire Terrier Rescue and the Bosco fund raiser auctions. Teresa’s work has been sold all over the US.
One area that’s dear to Teresa heart is designing Pet memorials. Knowing how pets our members of our families she understands how special and treasured a memorial piece can be.
