John Jerig

I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone who has taken the time to view my artwork.

I became interested in painting and drawing when I was 10 or 12 years old. I had no formal art training, only art classes at Adamsville Elementary and Tri Valley High schools before I graduated in 1979.

I particularly enjoy painting animals and landscapes. With this media I use acrylics on canvas, slate and stone plates, along with painting all types of murals on walls.

I get lost in my work while painting and take time in expressing my artistic expressions in every piece I am working on. I grew up on a farm and truly appreciated the beauty in everything around me. I feel my artistic talent is a gift from God and artwork is for everyone to enjoy.
