James (Jim) Loucks
I’ve recently retired from teaching English literature at Ohio State-Newark Campus, so I’ve finally found the time to return to drawing after a hiatus of about 40 years (sorry I ever stopped; my re-learning curve has been steep). I’ve been doing mainly pencil portraits but am venturing into watercolor with expert advice from my wife, Roberta Sass Loucks. I’ve only recently joined ZAAP and SEOWS, and I greatly enjoyed the recent outing at the Barracks, which gave me the opportunity to meet several ZAAP members.
