The First Friday Art Walk on January 1st, 2010 was canceled this year since it fell on New Year's Day. ZAAP however had decided to have First Sunday instead on January 3rd, 2010.
ZAAP Photographers are our featured artists this month and the turnout for his opening afternoon was surpisingly good in spite of the chill and the fact that it was Sunday. If you missed it, come on by and check out thier work. Also you'll see work from many of our other artists on display as well.
We also want to thank everyone who purchased a raffle ticket for their chance to win a wonderful box. All of the procedes go to three local artists who are fighting cancer. The raffle will conclude January 17th when we draw the lucky winner. So come in anytime we're open and purchase a ticket for only $10, maybe you'll be the lucky winner!
We hope to see you the next First Friday on February 5th, 2010, where we'll be showing the work of Marilyn and Gerry Westgerdes. Come enjoy their art work, the music of The Brady Israel Band, good food, friendly people, and lots of other artwork from local artists.
