The First Friday Art Walk on December 4th, 2009 was a beautiful night even though it was a bit chilly to walk around to the galleries and studios. Still for November it was an excellent evening. The Brady Israel Band played for us again in the gallery and as always we enjoyed them and are thankful that they donate their time for us. If you missed them or even if you were there and want to listen to them at home, they have a CD at the gallery for just $10.00! Stop in and grab one...it's their first.
I would like to thank everyone who nominated and voted for me to win the Bucci/Dietz Art Award. Thank you Mary Ann and Ron Bucci, I am extremely thankful and very honored to receive this award. I'm rarely speechless (as most of you know), but I was at a loss for words. Thank you again...Everyone!
Kay Israel is our featured artist this month and the turnout for his opening night was fairly good in spite of the chill. If you missed it, come on by and check out her. Also you'll see work from many of our other artists on display as well. We also sold many of our ornaments and want to think everyone who purchased them and some of the other artwork. Thank You!
We also want to thank everyone who purchased a raffle ticket for their chance to win a wonderful box. All of the procedes go to three local artists who are fighting cancer. The raffle will conclude January 1st at 8pm when we draw the lucky winner. So come in anytime we're open and purchase a ticket for only $10, maybe you'll be the lucky winner!
