I would like to apologize to everyone for being so late in getting this up. There was a problem with my camera (the Organic Interface...Me) and these were the only pictures I was able to salvage for that evening.
The First Friday Art Walk on October 2nd, 2009 was a beautiful night even though it was a bit chilly to walk around to the galleries and studios. The weather was great and it was wonderful evening. The Brady Isreal Band played could not outside the gallery this time because of the chill which is okay because we enjoyed them inside the gallery.
Karen Bogard is our Featured Artist this month and she did not disappoint her fans. Everyone had a great time and the food was delicious! Come down this month sometime if you were not able to make it during the First Friday event, or come back again ...you're always welcome at the ZAAP Gallery! If you haven't made it to the First Friday Art Walk, You have to come, all the studios and galleries were busy with guests and artists! For those of us who aren't able to get around easily, Z-Bus runs a shuttle service that goes by each gallery every 20 minutes. The First Friday Art Walk is truly fun for the entire family and we hope you'll join us for the first time or come back for more fun!
There is some new young talent in the former Gallery Z studio across the street and Shelley Tolliver is showing her work at the Rambo Center. Be sure to stop in and visit them both this month. You won't be disappointed!
