The First Friday Art Walk on September 4th, 2009 was a beautiful night to walk around to the galleries and studios. It was a perfect evening! The weather was great and it was wonderful evening. The Brady Isreal Band played outside the gallery much to the delight to the gallery visitors and passerbys alike.
This was our final night for bidding on the mural below and from all of us at ZAAP we want to thank everyone who came in and placed a bid; Thank You! We would like to congratulate everyone who placed a winning bid and we know you'll enjoy your new piece of artwork for many years to come. The auction raised over $1,600 which will help the gallery stay open and support future projects.
Dottie Sterzinar is our Featured Artist this month she is showing several beautiful portraits and other works. She has a knack for capturing her subject's eyes that you have to see to believe. Come down this month sometime if you were not able to make it during the First Friday event, or come back again...you're always welcome at the ZAAP Gallery!
If you haven't made it to the First Friday Art Walk, You have to come, all the studios and galleries were busy with guests
and artists! For those of us who aren't able to get around easily, Z-Bus runs a shuttle service that goes by each gallery every
20 minutes. The First Friday Art Walk is truely fun for the entire family and we hope you'll join us for the first time or come
back for more fun!
